It Started with a Staredown…

One Week Until Sweet Score Drops

We’re officially one week out from the release of Sweet Score—and I’ve reached the part of the publishing process where I’m equal parts excited, anxious, and aggressively refreshing my email like it owes me money.

Today, I’m giving you a tiny taste of what’s waiting inside the book:
The first line. The last line.
Because between those two?
There’s chaos, cupcakes, hockey fights, slow-burn tension, found family, and a whole lot of frosting in very inappropriate places.

Opening Line:

“The air inside the arena crackled with tension.”

Closing Line (no spoilers):

“And right there, surrounded by cupcakes, laughter, and the scent of something sweet — I found my forever.”

This book started as a scribbled sentence in my notes app about a baker with a backbone and a hockey player with no filter. It turned into something bigger:

  • A story about being seen

  • About choosing yourself even when it’s hard

  • About trusting someone to hold your heart without dropping it

And yeah—there’s also a food fight. And a cake emergency. And one very flustered PR manager.

If you’ve ever fallen for the guy who makes you furious and flustered in the same breath…
If you’ve ever rebuilt yourself from the ground up and guarded the soft parts like treasure…
If you love a romance that’s messy, funny, spicy, and full of heart—

Sweet Score is for you.

See you next week for release day. 💕
